The church of Saint James the Apostle, Quedgeley and Kingsway is a friendly family church situated in the very heart of Quedgeley.

Fully engaged in promoting the word of God and Out Reach in a growing parish on the southwest outskirts of the city of Gloucester. We are a busy church.

Two Outreach Groups, Chatterbox for parent and toddlers, Chit Chat for the young at heart both are held on a weekly basis in the church. Unfortunately due to the latest Govt. guidance on COVID 19 we have had to cancel both groups. We shall resume as soon as we possibly can.   In normal circumstances  on the first Sunday of each month we hold a family service with craft activity and lunch to follow. However, we are operating only one service on a Sunday of Holy Communion at 10.30am.  Distancing and hygiene measures are in place and you must wear a face mask.

We work closely with our  local Church of England schools, Field Court Infant Academy and Clearwater Academy.  Our Open the Book group visit a number of local schools in the area and our Baptism team are always on hand to give help and advice.   In February we are going to launch Jamie's Ark a new toddler church for pre-school children and their parents/carers.  I do hope those who are able will support this.
